Meet the Founder
Lucrecia Gunn

Lucrecia Gunn is a singer-songwriter born in Louisville, Kentucky, on October 19th,1985, and raised in New Albany, IN where she graduated in 2004. Lucrecia’s now deceased father, Rev Wallace L Gunn Sr., started her singing ‘I know what prayer can do” in church at the age of 5. Lucrecia has continued to fill that passion for singing throughout the years. singing at several events throughout the Kentuckiana area, and working with Louisville natives Paula McCraney and Rush Trowell in stage play performances. She also pushed her dream abroad by auditioning for the NBC show The Voice, and the legendary Apollo theatre in New York, where, although she did not make it to the show she did have the honor of singing on the stage. In 2023 she released her first single I Call Your Name as a collaboration with Hyly Favored Productions. In August of the same year she was nominated by the Kentucky Urban Music Awards for gospel artist of the year, and proceeded to receive another nomination in 2024.
She is a member of Shekinah Glory Ministries, where her pastor is Dr. Ruth Wilson. She has held the position of Youth Coordinator since 2018, and in October 2023 she answered her call and was ordained as a minister in January of 2024.
One thing she knows is that it’s through God that she lives, moves, and has her being, and she gives him all the glory. Her favorite scripture is Galatians 6:9: “ And let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.”
She desires to work with different artists however her greatest desire is for God to use her voice to heal, deliver and set free.
